Business Development/Project Management
New Female Leaders
New Female Leaders is a Social Enterprise that helps women to lead more authentically. Together with founder Caroline I've set up a new business proposition: New Female Leaders Careers.
I am heading up development of the MVP, testing and optimisation, sales, customer success, promotions and marketing campaigns (predominantly on social platforms), and set-up for all internal processes with the operations department. I am constantly making improvements to the platform, so it can achieve the best results. I co-created all the input and content with Caroline. We went from idea to live within 2 months.
I am guiding a team which includes a social marketeer, LinkedIn specialist, lead generation agency, operational support, and development agency.

Employer Branding, People Scalability
Unravel is the brainchild of entrepreneur Ricardo van Lemmen. I previously worked with him on his other company, Fleks. So, when he needed help with the scalability of Unravel in terms of HR and Recruitment, he turned to me.
After taking a good look at the needs of the company, we decided to start off with branding. We defined a clear definition for the company in the job market to attract the right talent. We built a website and job postings that fit the branding - young, informal, and fun. I wrote all the content necessary and made sure the info was not only available on their own website, but also in all the other places where we could reach the target audience. Altogether we created an Employer brand in just 1 month, ready to attract talented inbound applicants and to start active outreach with high-quality landing pages.
Result of the branding investment: a 15,6 percent conversion on our job adds + 33.33% of applicants (that’s 1 in 3!) were promising enough to proceed to interview.
Other things that I did to define the brand and take a next step in scalability are:
- Defining cultural values
- EMPV definition
- Implementation of basic processes in HR
- Implementation of the right recruitment processes.

Bending the Rules
Development agency Bending the Rules is constantly looking for new developers - who isn't, right? That's why I've worked on defining a specific employer brand, while also keeping in mind the importance of retaining their current employees. There is no use in attracting talent at your front door while letting your current talent walk away through the back!
Working alongside the marketing agency, Founder Jasper and I have set-up a great jobsite and campaign to make sure that the employer brand stands out in this difficult market. Simultaneously, we’ve defined their cultural values to make sure the great culture they will be maintained.
We've had sessions with the MT about HR strategic decisions to set-up a handbook (internal guidelines) and we've design recruitment processes that fit a scale-up, instead of a start-up.
Through all these efforts, we lower the chances for miss-hires and increase the chances of attracting people who are the right fit in terms of skills and culture.

Strategy, Scalability & Culture.
At Rebel Nature we are starting at the core, by defining the Cultural Values of the company. From there, we have the foundation to build the people processes on. I've implemented processes for HR Ops. onboarding, off- boarding proces, Performance development and best practices in recruitment.
But apart from that, Leadership is also a very important topic in this project. We are looking at role responsibilities within the company, specifically in the management team. After growing from a start-up into a scale-up, the RN management team is ready to define their role and find their personal way of leadership. I will organise multiple sessions to help them do this and we will make the first steps in setting up a company strategy/yearly plan for execution for all departments. Combining this with the right communicational structures, this will help Rebel Nature to work more target (KPI) driven by creating more focus in every department and role in the company.
Partnership Management, Commercial Growth, People & Strategy.
My first challenge at Quan is setting up Partnership Management as a core part of the commercial growth. By defining and connecting the right partners, whilst making sure they are successfully spreading the Quan mission and selling the way of working.
Second, I'm helping Quan with setting up a successful hiring process and to define their cultural values.
This project is the perfect combination of both my people and commercial skills.
